Comments from last year’s winners.

We are communicating with last year’s prize winner teams and asking few questions about last year’s contest. If you are still debating to participate or not, maybe these answers would help you to decide!
This time we are publishing answers from team Sytevaka from Pärnu Sütevaka Humanitaargümnaasium. They are last year winners in age group D.

Questions for team:
1. Did your team enjoyed contest, will you participate again and would you recomend this contest to others?
2. Did you managed to make new contacts?
3. If it’s not secret how your team spended prize and what are your teams future plans?

Väino Tuisk, team’s teacher:
1. We enjoyed the contest, activities and Ventspils city very much! And we are planning to participate this year again.
2. We made contacts with other Estonian teams, unfortunately not with other Baltic States teams.
3. I personally spent some of prize money for sweets for our and other Estonian teams at busride and also for our school teachers and other students back at home.
• Thank You for the great competition – only best memories from last year!

Karl-Enrik Kriis, team’s leader:
1. We really enjoyed the contest, it was a lot of fun. The tasks were good and we also liked other activities. We will certainly take part in it again and are recommending it to our friends who are also interested in technology and IT.
2. We unfortunately didn’t make any new contacts in other Baltic states besides Estonia, but we are going to try to do it this year (if we were to qualify), as we think this contest is a really good environment for it.
3. The prize money wasn’t spent with a clear plan, we just used it for everyday costs. However thanks to the prize money, we did not have to work on the weekends for example to get more spending money. As a result we were able to focus more on our interests and develop necessary skills. For the future we plan to associate ourselves with IT and computers on some level or another. That is also why we really liked the contest and the chance to put our skills to use and also learn something.
